Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, and Council Bluffs, Iowa.

What training do your bath aides have?

Our mission-oriented bathing assistants are trained by our physical therapist on staff. Some have higher certifications such as trained caregiver, CPR certification, or Certified Nursing Assistant, but all of them must demonstrate competencies in transferring, skin care, infection control, and fall prevention prior to providing services. Expect a caring and professional person to visit you in your home who will honor you and your loved one's human dignity. 

Can I sign up my elderly parents or family members for these services?

Yes! It can be a challenge for older individuals to navigate websites or use their smartphone to use our scheduling. We are also able to help schedule visits over the phone. 

 How much do your services cost?

We strive to keep these necessary services at a manageable cost. We currently offer a single or one-time bath for 50$. From there we give a 10% discount on 2 or more baths per week. If you need more than 2 baths per week, we can accommodate.

Do you provide nursing services?

No. At this time, our non-medical services are specific to in-home bathing.

What facilities can I come to for bathing services?

We are able to come to single family homes, apartments, and independent living facilities. As long as you are in a safe environment, we can help you.

Our Mission

Simply Bathing was founded to simplify the way people are connected to bathing services.

We are a family owned small business with a big heart for serving others. It truly is a privilege to provide care and assistance to those in need. This work is clearly needed in our communities, and so we strive to
encourage more people to become caregivers. We hope to bring to light the beauty and privilege of this humble work, amplify a desire to serve, and draw attention to the dignity of the human person.

Brian and Katie both had the opportunity to spend time doing mission work in India with the missionaries of Charity, the religious order founded by Mother Teresa. Her focus was always on Jesus Christ, and serving him in the poorest of the poor. She famously summed up the Gospel on her 5 fingers, “You did it to me,” emphasizing that Mysteriously, Christ is present in each human being.
Mother Teresa always encouraged us to look for other types of poverty to address, not just material poverty, and also to “Find your own Calcutta.” This is first and foremost loving and serving those in our own families, but for us this extends outwards as we grow a business that encourages more people to join us in caring for the aging and those who need help with bathing.
